Summer Fun!

I know that it is already pretty much fall but I thought I would put these up anyway. This summer was so busy, we had family in town and all kinds of wonderful surprises! We did enjoy a lot of pool and beach time! Stasi loves the water and has no fear.. which makes me have enough fear for all of us! Here are some oh so cute pictures from our summer!

Family of 4….

I had a doctors appointment on Wednesday to discuss some health issues I was having.. So I went to see my OB/GYN doctor to discuss some test results and see what could be done as far as trying for another baby. Well after 45 minutes of discussion it turned out that if we wanted another baby we were going to need some “help”…. or so we thought… After the doctor I went to the lab to get a blood test done before starting some meds.. Thursday morning Dan, Stasi, and I were driving to Sea World. My doctor called me, she never calls her herself it is normally a nurse.. To my surprise it was her.. and she told me to forget our previous conversation because I am already pregnant!!!! She said that according to my numbers I am about 4 weeks or so.. I go in on Monday for the ultrasound to see exactly how far along I am and to get set up with my doctors!! Dan and I are so excited!! and what makes it even better is that my sister in law Jenn is 10 or 11 weeks now so our kids will only be 6 weeks apart!! yay!! Just thought we would let everyone know!

Just an update!

So things have been really crazy around here! Stasi turned a year old! She is getting bigger by the second. She is 32 and 3/4 in tall, and weights in at a fabulous 27.12! She isn’t walking just yet, cruzin everywhere, but hasn’t start to walk on her own just yet.

Dan has been in medic school for forever it seems. He is getting into his clinicals and is gone ALOT! Between class, clinicals, work, the gym, and cutting grass he isn’t home much. It’s hard on both of us but we keep saying it won’t be like this for long. He is doing such are great job with everything and before you know it he’ll be done with school! YAY!

We are still in the process of find out about the house we put an offer in on in April. The whole process seems to take forever but we are getting towards the end now and hopefully we will know something VERY soon! We love that house so much and are really hoping we get it!

As for me, well I have just been watching my nephew Caden and hanging with Stasi. Not too much to report from me! : ) Here are some pictures from life in past few weeks!

One Year Old

So we made it through the 1st year! YAY! To celebrate we had two parties. The 1st was with just family, my parents, Dan’s parents and grandparents, and our brother’s and sisters! We had such a good time. Then a week later we had her “friends” party. Now that was interesting! I can’t believe the 1st year is over, before Dan and I know it she’ll be driving!

Happy Easter!!!

I hope everyone had a very happy and blessed Easter! I know we did. Staurday Stasi and I spent the day with my mom, we hung out at home and went to church in the evening! Stasi loves the music, she was dancing all over the place! Sunday Stasi found her easter basket from the bunny and then we went to Grandma Penny and Papa’s house to hang out for a while. Where the Easter Bunny had left somethign for me! A video camera!! It was awsome!! Then I  got Stasi into her pretty dress and we went to the fire station to visit Dan! Stasi always has fun up there, the guys really do love her. Then we went to my dads and had dinner and Stasi got to play with her uncles and the dogs. And she did eat her very 1st strawberry! It was such a great day.

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

Dan did not have to work this past St. Patty’s Day so he went to get Stasi and dressed for the day. Stasi loves it when he is the one to come in and get her! Dan told me to come into her room and the bring the camera! He had put her in the cutest outfit! I was so proud!!

Stasi and I went to have dinner at Grandma and Papa’s house (Dave and Penny are Dan’s parents). My sister in-law Jenn was there. Now if you have ever met Jenn you would know how incredible she is with children. She and Stasi have a very special bond already. Stasi loves to play with her Auntie Jenn-Jenn. We got some great shots of them playing together! I am so blessed to have an amazing woman like Jenn as a sister in-law!

Seafood Fest!

Every year a town a little further south of our holds a seafood festival! This year my sister and I went with the kids and my dad and his wife Kathy came along! We had so much fun listening to the bands and eating yummy food! Stasi has a blast hanging out with Poppi and Nana for the afternoon. Dan was on shift that day but he made an appearance, his station has a call at the festival so we got to see Daddy which always makes our day! Overall we had a great time and I think we may start going every year!

After the festival we went to see Dan’s new fire station. It’s the same station just a new building! Stasi loves visiting him at work, I think it’s because all of the guys love to play with her! We took some pictures with Dan and the trucks with Stasi they came out so cute. The station is so nice, so much better than what they were in! Check out the pictures!

10 Months Old

Our princess in now 10 months old. Dan and I were looking at some pictures we had taken and noticed that she has almost lost that “baby look”. We cannot believe it has almost been a whole year. She is mobile now, so that adds some spice to life. She has attitude already, and knows exactly what she wants and will do everything in her power to get it. She has Daddy wrapped around that tiny finger like you would not believe! : )  He is her hero hands down! Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks!

 

Daughter of the Groom!

For those of you that don’t know my dad recently got re-married. It was February 18, and it was amazing! His wife Kathy, who I just love to pieces looked so gorgeous! And it has been years since I have seen my dad that happy! It was a breath taking service which my sister and I cried through. Stasi and Caden were there and they were just as cute and well behaved as ever! It was an amazing day and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it!
